Today, the final draft of the Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) Kigali Declaration has been published on the Uniting to Combat NTDs website (Japanese PDF here ).

This Declaration mobilizes political will to achieve the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals 3 (SDG3) NTDs section and the World Health Organization NTDs Countermeasures Roadmap (2021-2030). , A high-level declaration aimed at ensuring commitment. The decision was made after lengthy discussions by a number of stakeholders, led by an interstate task team co-chaired by the Ministers of Health of Rwanda and Nigeria.

Uniting to Combat NTDs is currently preparing to announce the Kigali Declaration to the world in time for World NTD Day in January next year as the next step.
