Abstract
Nagasaki University has been entrusted with the WHO pre-certification and recommendation acquisition of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare in the first year of Reiwa and the second year of Reiwa, and the promotion project of listing the WHO recommended equipment handbook for developing countries, and international expansion of pharmaceuticals and medical devices related to global health. We have been collecting information, networking, and holding seminars to promote this. While implementing the business, there are many companies in Japan that have excellent technological seeds, but many of these companies are small and medium-sized enterprises, and the challenges of expanding overseas on their own have become apparent. Therefore, as one way to overcome this problem, we are currently focusing on public support, identifying and mapping available public support at each development stage, from grasping local needs to research and development and entering the international market. We are. In this webinar, we will share this achievement with you, provide information from major public institutions that provide public support for the international expansion of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and introduce case studies from companies.

Abstract
Malaria, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases. Behind the global epidemic of the new coronavirus, these traditional infectious diseases continue to threaten the lives and livelihoods of people in developing countries. It is said that one of the obstacles in advancing measures against these infectious diseases is the absence or lack of high-quality and easy-to-use diagnostic agents. Especially for neglected tropical diseases, the ability to develop the necessary diagnostics will determine the success or failure of the measures for the next 10 years. The Nagasaki University NTD Innovation Center holds a series of webins mainly for companies with the aim of promoting the development of diagnostic agents in Japan and their launch in the international market. In this second seminar, we will introduce development strategies and diagnostic drug technologies for infectious disease diagnostics targeting the international market, and what obstacles Japanese companies have in entering the international market and what companies are dealing with. We will set up a forum for discussing with participants whether they need such support.
