[Event Report] The 2nd Nikkei Asia-Africa Medical Innovation Consortium (AMIC) NTD Subcommittee (July 15, 2022)

The "2nd Nikkei Asia-Africa Medical Innovation Consortium (AMIC) NTD Subcommittee" was held jointly by the Nihon Keizai Shimbun and the Neglected Tropical Diseases Alliance (JAGntd).

At the second subcommittee meeting, discussions were held on building a system to ensure access to people in need of products, focusing on the importance of drug access highlighted at the first meeting. .. There was also an exchange of views on the preparation of a government proposal for the G7 Hiroshima Summit to be held in May 2023. The proposal will be submitted to the government around September after the comments from the participants of the subcommittee will be summarized in August.
